Essentia Health Go Far Woman is very excited to have the Lost Dog Pacers lead runners to their goal times!  This group of experienced runners have paced many events, such as Grandma's Marathon, Gary Bjorkland Half Marathon, Red, White and Boom, Tiki Run, plus many more!  We have been extremely lucky to have had them for the past 5 years at the Essentia Health Go Far Woman!


We are going to have a great field of pacers to help you get to your finish time!  The Half Marathon will have pacers for the full race, the 10 Milers will have pacers for the first 5 miles of the race. Check them out below!

Questions & Answers

  • Do I need to sign up to be in a pace group?  No - you can just join in!  You'll be able to recognize them with their bright yellow Lost Dog Pacer tanks - and signs indicating their goal times!​​

  • Does it cost anything to have a pacer?  No - this is a FREE service to you!  The Lost Dog Pacers have one thing in mind - and that is the success of you as a runner!

  • Do the pacers have a lot of experience?  Yes - they sure do!  These are seasoned runners who have and are participating in many events.  They are well versed on how to keep a consistent pace while taking factors like weather conditions, race course and aid stations into account.
